    Job Responsibilities

    1.     2.     Doanh nghiệp Việt trước bài toán: ESG ‘nóng’ – nhân lực ‘lạnh’

    Thực tế nguồn nhân lực vừa giỏi chuyên môn, vừa hiểu ESG không nhiều trong khi Phát triển Bền vững dần trở thành thiết yếu khiến nhiều doanh nghiệp phải ‘cân đo đong đếm’ vấn đề nhân sự.

    Theo quan sát của anh Triệu Thanh Thinh, trưởng phòng ESG tại MWG, hiện khá nhiều công ty có nhu cầu tuyển dụng nhân sự trong mảng này nhưng số lượng ứng viên đáp ứng đủ tiêu chí không nhiều. Nhiều bạn trẻ quan tâm đến ESG nhưng lại thiếu kiến thức và kinh nghiệm nền tảng vì các chương trình đào tạo chính quy còn hạn chế, chủ yếu dựa vào tự học, tham gia workshop hoặc các cộng đồng nhỏ. Chính vì thế, để tạm thời giải được bài toán này thì nhiều công ty đã áp dụng tiêu chí “tuyển dụng mềm”.

    Khi tuyển dụng nhân sự ESG, các doanh nghiệp thường ưu tiên ứng viên có đam mê và động lực làm việc trong lĩnh vực này hơn là yêu cầu cần có kỹ năng chuyên môn ESG. Bên cạnh đó, thái độ và sự phù hợp với văn hóa công ty cũng là yếu tố quan trọng.

    Anh Thinh cho biết tại Thế Giới Di Động, khi đưa ra các tiêu chí tuyển dụng nhân sự ESG thì kỹ năng chuyên môn về PTBV thường là một phần bổ trợ, không phải yếu tố quyết định. Ưu tiên vẫn là kỹ năng chuyên môn chính của công việc, còn ESG sẽ được đào tạo thêm. “Vì đặc thù công việc, tìm kiếm ứng viên có chuyên môn sâu về ESG gần như bất khả thi. Thay vào đó, công ty tìm những bạn có khả năng hiểu và hứng thú với lĩnh vực này, để có thể truyền thông, viết bài, tổ chức sự kiện nhằm lan tỏa ESG thì sẽ thuận đôi đường”, anh Thinh chia sẻ với Dear Our Community. Như vậy, đội ngũ ESG đóng vai trò cầu nối, giúp mọi người hiểu rõ hơn về các quyết định của công ty trong lĩnh vực này.

    Hơn nữa, chuyển đổi ESG không chỉ khó ở nội bộ mà còn phụ thuộc vào khách hàng và các bên liên quan. Ví dụ, việc giảm túi nilon có thể gặp trở ngại từ chính khách hàng hoặc chi phí nội bộ. Thế nên, nhiều doanh nghiệp chọn giải pháp chủ động đào tạo nội bộ hoặc kết hợp với các đơn vị bên ngoài để hỗ trợ. Hình thức đào tạo "training on the job" được áp dụng phổ biến nhằm giúp nhân viên học hỏi và áp dụng kiến thức ngay trong công việc. Tức là làm đến đâu học đến đó, như khi cần viết báo cáo phát triển bền vững thì sẽ đào tạo trực tiếp vào thời điểm đó.

    Bên cạnh đó, với đà phát triển của thị trường, nhu cầu tuyển dụng nhân sự ESG sẽ ngày càng cao. Các bạn trẻ nếu có định hướng rõ ràng từ bây giờ sẽ có nhiều cơ hội phát triển trong tương lai.

    Nếu một người trẻ muốn theo đuổi lĩnh vực ESG, anh Thinh cho rằng nên bắt đầu bằng việc tự học, tìm hiểu các tài liệu, chính sách liên quan. Bên cạnh đó, tham gia các chương trình thực tập, dự án cộng đồng cũng là cách tốt để tích lũy kinh nghiệm. Việc xây dựng kỹ năng phân tích và tư duy phản biện rất quan trọng. Kỹ năng giao tiếp cũng là một yếu tố cần thiết vì ESG liên quan đến nhiều bên, cần có khả năng truyền tải thông tin rõ ràng, dễ hiểu. Khi làm về ESG, không chỉ cần hiểu khái niệm mà còn phải biết áp dụng vào thực tế doanh nghiệp. 

    Doanh nghiệp cần làm gì?

    Song song đó, doanh nghiệp cần có lộ trình phát triển đội ngũ ESG bài bản, từ tuyển dụng, đào tạo để giữ chân nhân tài. Xây dựng cộng đồng ESG nội bộ cũng giúp tạo động lực và gắn kết cho nhân viên. Một số công ty lớn đã bắt đầu thiết lập các chương trình đào tạo ESG nội bộ hoặc liên kết với các tổ chức đào tạo bên ngoài để nâng cao năng lực đội ngũ.

    Doanh nghiệp cần hiểu rõ ESG không chỉ là trách nhiệm mà còn là cơ hội. Thực tế cho thấy doanh nghiệp áp dụng ESG tốt có thể cải thiện uy tín thương hiệu, thu hút nhà đầu tư và khách hàng quan tâm đến phát triển bền vững. Tuy nhiên quan trọng nhất là phải kiên trì, vì ESG là một lĩnh vực mới nên đôi khi doanh nghiệp chưa sẵn sàng đầu tư vào lĩnh vực này, vì vẫn đặt lợi nhuận lên hàng đầu. Thế nhưng, nếu biết cách thực hành và coi trọng thì ESG có thể mang lại giá trị dài hạn, như tiết kiệm chi phí vận hành, cải thiện quan hệ với đối tác…

    Hiện một số ngành đang có nhu cầu cao về nhân sự ESG bao gồm tài chính, bất động sản, sản xuất và chuỗi cung ứng.     Main Purpose:

    As a Sustainability Business Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization’s sustainability initiatives and driving our commitment to environmental and social responsibility. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across functions and external partners across industry to develop and implement sustainable business practices, monitor progress, and promote Unilever as a leader in sustainability. Your efforts will contribute to our overall sustainability strategy and help us achieve our sustainability goals.

    Main Accountabilities:

    1. Sustainability Strategy Development and Implementation:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of the organization’s sustainability strategy and action plans, especially Plastics agenda.

    • Conduct research on best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to sustainability.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for integrating sustainability into business operations.

    • Support the development of sustainability policies, guidelines, and procedures.

    2. Data Collection and Analysis:

    • Track and report on key sustainability performance indicators for 4 pillars: climate, nature, plastics and livelihoods.

    • Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations based on data analysis.

    • Assist in the preparation of reports related to sustainability as well as communication materials internally and externally.

    3. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to raise awareness and understanding of sustainability goals and initiatives.

    • Liaise with external partners, suppliers, and community organizations to foster sustainable business partnerships.

    • Participate in sustainability-related industry events, conferences, or networks to stay updated on emerging trends and best practices.

    4. Project Management and Administration:

    • Coordinate and support sustainability projects, including planning, contracts, resource allocation, monitoring, partnership strengthening.

    • Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure successful project completion.

    • Assist in organising sustainability events and meetings

    Relevant Experience

    A. JOB PURPOSE:

    At De Heus, sustainability is the cornerstone of our strategy and core business practices. As one of the global leaders in animal nutrition, we feel responsible and committed to deliver concrete impacts along the agriculture and food value chain where we are active. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Sustainability Officer to join our team and be part of our exciting sustainable transition in Vietnam.

    The Sustainability Officer will be part of the Vietnam Sustainability team and responsible for various projects and activities in our sustainability programme. You will be working in an international, professional, and dynamic environment with many growth opportunities.

    B. ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

    – Plan and report on assigned flagship projects and key sustainability indicators. This include conducting research, preparing documents and presentations and coordinating with various departments.

    – Data collection: Gather and analyse data related to sustainability metrics. Prepare reports and presentations based on the findings.

    2. COMMUNICATION:

    – Create and review communication materials related to sustainability initiatives. This includes preparing articles, social media posts, and internal communication materials, working with internal teams or external agencies to execute the plan.

    3. EVENT COORDINATOR:

    – Support the organization and implementation of sustainability-related meetings, workshops, trainings or events.

    4. OTHERS:

    – Handle various tasks and activities as assigned by the Sustainability Manager such as scheduling meetings, maintaining project documentation, and coordinating with internal & external partners.

    C. RESULTS:

    – Deliver timely, accurate and comprehensive overviews of the status of assigned projects to enable decision making and progress.

    – Monitor and report insights from sustainability performance to identify areas requiring attention.

    – Delivering contents that touch hearts & minds of the target audience to improve awareness & engagement in sustainability.

    – Well-planned and smooth execution of events.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    – Bachelor’s degree with major in business or sustainability related studies

    EXPERIENCES:

    – From 2 – 3 years of experience.

    – Previous work experience project management, events coordination and communication is a plus, especially in sustainability initiatives.

    COMPETENCIES:

    – Able to work and communicate effectively with different audiences.

    – Works effectively in a team

    – Able to work independently.

    – Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). PowerBI and Canva skill is a plus.

    LANGUAGES:

    – Vietnamese and English

    OTHER REQUIREMENT:

    – Travel is required.
